Salicylic Acid is a beta hydroxy acid that exfoliates the skin. This 2% treatment solution helps exfoliate the inside walls of pores to fight the appearance of blemishes and for better visible skin clarity with continued use. Contraindications: This formula should not be used on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin. Please refer to additional sun protection note and other warnings in provided Directions. Note: While exfoliating acids can result in quick visible benefits, we generally suggest indirect forms of skin exfoliation in favour of direct forms such as this formula due to potential inflammation and sensitivity associated with acids. Please refer to NIOD's Non-Acid Acid Precursor for such a reference. Note: This product is not medicine. If you are fighting extensive or persistent acne, please consult a physician. Effective medicine exists to fight acne successfully, including retinoic acid and benzoyl peroxide.
How To Use
To use The Ordinary’s Niacinamide in Pakistan, follow these steps:
- Cleanse your skin thoroughly to remove any makeup, dirt, or oil.
- Tone your skin to balance the pH level.
- Apply a small amount of the serum to your face and neck, avoiding the eye area.
- Gently massage the serum into your skin using upward and outward motions.
- Wait a few minutes for the serum to fully absorb into your skin.
- Follow up with your moisturizer to lock in hydration.
It’s recommended to use this serum in the morning and evening, as part of your regular skincare routine. You can also use it under makeup or on its own for a more natural look.
It’s important to note that niacinamide can cause temporary flushing or redness for some people, especially when first starting to use it. If this happens, reduce the frequency of use until your skin becomes accustomed to the product. Also, be sure to use a broad-spectrum SPF during the day to protect your skin from UV damage.
